Yesterday I saw there'd been another scrape of fics from Ao3, including mine, and for a reason I can't define this was the time that I decided it was too much, so I've locked all my Ao3 fics to logged in users only. I hate that we have to do this.
You ever come across a draft in your WIP folder that you'd mostly forgotten about, and it turns out it was basically done, you just overshot the ending and needed to pull it back a few lines? Yeah, I did not expect to be posting anything at all in the near or far future, partiularly for this fandom; I haven't watched new MCU stuff in years. Surprise for me I guess?

snowflake_challenge Day 8: post self-recs for at least three fanworks that you created.There's a few fics I've written I think are pretty good (I really enjoy re-reading them, if that says anything) but that seemed to fly under the radar for some reason. What better time to rec them, right?
Bucky of Borg (MCU / Star Trek TNG)
This is a fusion crossover, a remix of the TNG Locutus incident with Bucky being assimilated and Steve, captain of the USS Avenger, trying to rescue him.
I had fun putting the Avengers into Starfleet roles; some are a little obvious (Thor dropped right into Worf's role), others I played with (Tony is a perfec Chief Engineer but would not make a good Geordi-insert, so I made him an Andorian with a sassy mouth).
It's not 100% in character but it's fun? I had ideas for a lot more backstory like Thor the Klingon being raised on Quo'nos but did something dishonourable and was kicked out of the House of Odin, Loki was a literal changeling/Founder, and so on.)
Stripped to the Soul (Star Trek AOS)
Fic covering the salvage of the Enterprise at the end of Beyond (with a slight fudge of canon for logic) because 1) there's no way they repaired the Enterprise that quickly and 2) Kirk/Enterprise is the best ship in this fandom FIGHT ME.
What I like about this one is the quiet love underscoring every single thing Kirk does, and that it reinforces the growing up he's finally done - for the ones he loves, ship and crew. And I really liked describing the labour of it, hands on and red tape and all.
Gambling (MCU Agent Carter)
AU for season 1 where Daniel catches Peggy out in the nightclub photos and listens long enough to believe her. The fic is only an initial breakaway scene with all the trust issues, but it had groundwork for an entirely rewritten S1 with Daniel being Peggy's mole in the SSR, feeding her intel and sending Thompson and Dooley on wild goose chases. (I had a faint notion of giving Angie a bigger role than "Peggy's obstacle", letting her use her acting skills against Dottie or something.)

Howard/Whitney AU. It remains the only fic with that ship on AO3. Also probably not 100% in character but watch me not care.
Shipper on Deck (MCU)
Jane & Darcy friendship fic during Ragnarok with my fixit for the Thor/Jane offscreen breakup, complete with cultural differences. I'm proud of Darcy's characterisation (rather a lot influenced by themonkeycabal's Run Verse https://archiveofourown.org/series/57783).
January 24th (Supernatural)
Dean's birthdays, non-linear, exploring his life in snippets. Entirely a character piece with bits of pre-s1 headcanon added.
This one isn't super bereft of attention but I'm still really, super proud of it; planning the timelining was about two days of moving post its round my wall to balance the years and the moods and wow, a lot of work.
